A Return to NIMH

After taking a month off, the Missus reconvened Thursday in their new rehearsal space, referred to affectionately as “The Rat’s Nest.” Shreveport Times photographer Henrietta Wildsmith was on hand to capture the action. Check out the photos here. Arlington Heights’ own Larry Gerard (a former Olympian!!!) sat in on drums for a few ragged, and we mean really ragged, jams that included takes on “Lady Madonna,” “Purple Haze,” “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” and the blues riff in E, which eventually devolved into the Missus own “Amoeba.” From there, drummer Pauly Barnes took over the throne and the group ran through a quick set of Missus songs and took a stab at a Darren White original “Fishhat F***wit.”
