Yeah, that’s right. My Grandmother Hen sent me this card. She actually glued on most of the words, the guitar and the microphone. That’s some serious dedication. It would feel more special if I didn’t know that she had already done the same thing for King Khan and the estate of Jim Croce.  Anyway, she frequents this site, and her birthday is next week on election day.  So, give her a shout out!

Hey folks!

We’re playing a show Nov. 16 (A Sunday, but hey, plan ahead) at the Fairmount with the kind folks in PFFFFT!, and we’d like you to come out and support us. Why?

A). The more you drink, the better the chance of our boys in PFFFFT! holding onto to their Sunday night gig.

B). We haven’t played in a while.

C). We’ll be debuting new material.

Word is we’ll go on at 10 p.m., but come and hang out and see all the bands.

So I have decided to take the next step and officially dedicate myself to becoming an overall better drummer. My wife and kids had just about enough of me practicing on my acoustic set…So during lunch today I went and made a fairly ridiculously large purchase (for me that is)…Say hello to the new, quieter, practice set for home.

Alright so here is the official offical, you dig? Baby Dani was born on October 2nd weighing in at 6lbs 15 ounces (16 ounces if you ask my math concious wife) and 19.5 Inches long…She has daddies Pumpkin Head-esque fingers too! She is a pretty cool potato at this point and her big sister, Breanna AKA MC Cystr  Robot approves of the new addition into the family.

So were all hanging out watchin’ getting wasted on strawberry milk and watching some late night Noggin’ (Ya’ll know what I am talkin about, like LATE LATE night…we talkin’ at least 8pm CST – HOLLAH!) and just enjoying each others company. As for me, Im ready to get behind the drum set again and keep wailing away with The Missus and continue my time fluctuating beats.

I like how this video of us leaves you hanging a little bit. We tossed some old songs out of our “songs we’ll be playing live” list, but I imagine this one will be in there for a long time.

Well, almost back.

Me and the other Missus are sick of sitting around. So we’re going to start makin’ moves again October 19–working on a a couple new Missus songs, ditching some old ones, pissing off baby boomers and rehearsing our latest side project, a cosmic country band called The Psychedelic Wheel Fires.

Also, eventually, maybe Pauly will announce that he had a baby on here. Maybe even some pictures …
