Hey everyone, thanks for coming out to Lola’s and supporting us. Now the Missus would like to take a small hiatus to cure our broken bodies. So we will see you again in three weeks with these items:
See you then, I will leave you with a video of Darren w/ rest of the Missus at Lola’s singing “First Girl” which could quite possibly be the last time its played.
Point your iPhones toward 2736 W. 6th Street, Fort Worth Texas 76107.
Here’s a map with street view. Come on out. We’d love to see you! It’s going to get all kinds of aleatoric.

This is a public announcement that The Missus is about to explode at Lola’s in Fort Worth. Wear some double-ply because there is no guarantee that we will not just strip you with our ridiculous amounts of sloppy rock awesomeness. I fear for you, your family and your childrens children.
See you tomorrow.
Pauly and Amber our expecting their second child at any time, and of course, we’re just totally excited for them!
Since we want P. Diddy to spend time with his wife, we tapped a replacement drummer in case the baby comes on gig-day. His name is Brian Greaves, and he should do a pleasant job. I’ve included a photo. He’s a nice guy.
In preparation for the Lola’s show I decided to be proactive and get a mic hole cut into my Kick drum head. Unfortunately this was a first for me and for anyone who knows me…they know I am not handy at all. So during practice last Thursday I finally had a chance to show the guys how cool it looked and how the sound didnt change much. They also got to see how a drumhead can split in half when a hole is not cut properly.
Thats right, the Gold Glitter Missus decal and the black drumhead went ka-put. No fear however, I already ordered another drum decal and already got the head replaced…
So come to to Lola’s this coming Thursday to check out not only a true rock show, but more importantly…my new drumhead!
EDIT:
I Just got word from my printer that I will be receiving a freakin’ REFLECTIVE RED decal. They are the best to be blinded with.

Pauly posted this earlier. Pretty rad — Missus Darren
… from our friend Ken over at Stash Dauber.
High praise in our eyes, especially considering Philip and I were inspired to carry on with the band after we saw the Stoogeshow at Fred’s a few months back.

… but kind of not really.
We’ve got a brand-spanking new gig at Lola’s Saloon at 2367 West Sixth Street in Fort Worth on Thursday, September 25. We go on at 12 a.m., and we’ve love for you to come!
We’re going to play some new tunes and some ones you know. It’ll be a really great time. Why? Here’s a few reasons:
1. Lola’s has a stage and a PA and a sound guy. Sweet.
2. We will give 100 percent, because our lack of natural music talent requires us to.
3. Free buttons are a very big possibility. You can put it on your backpack.
4. For at least one of you, the prospect of seeing Ryan’s beautiful long locks.
5. Pauly’s wife, Amber, is expecting. If she goes into labor, he has to leave immediately. We may need someone to play drums. That person might be you.
6. We play at bars, so you can drink!
We would literally love to see you there!
